Saraswati Puja celebrated with fervour in Seraikela

Seraikela, Feb 5:Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning and wisdom, was worshiped with devotion on Saturday. In other educational institutions including Wisdom Classes located the occasion was celebrated. Apart from this, worship of Mother Saraswati was also done by making puja pandals at many places.

There was a lot of enthusiasm among the children and youth regarding the worship of Saraswati maa. After worship, Prasad was also distributed among the students and children after mass aarti. During Saraswati Puja, many children started education in other puja pandals including Wisdom Classes. Under this, amidst the chanting of mantras, Vidya was started by the priest giving alphabet knowledge to the children. Annaprashan was also done for small children at many places. Teacher Sanjay Shadangi and others had a commendable contribution in the successful organization of the worship program.

Maa Saraswati was worshiped by setting up a statue in the pandal by the Veenapani Sangh Santari, established in 1951, of Kharsawan. Gajendra Singh Chauhan, Director of Gurukul and State Coordinator of Youth Cell of National Corruption Control and Public Welfare Organization, while worshiping the mother, wished for happiness, peace and prosperity of the area.

Similarly, at SK Academy, Seraikela, under the leadership of Academy head Professor Amlesh Sinha, students worshiped Maa Saraswati with reverence and wished well for the enlightened world.

In Seraikela, Maa Saraswati was worshiped with reverence in other schools and major areas including Kashi Sahu Mahavidyalaya, Guest House and Mini Guest House Colony and Boys Middle School.
