Saraikela Congress organizes silent protest against Hathras incident

Saraikela: The district Congress led by president Chhotray Kisku observed a two hour silent satyagrah in protest against the Hathras incident in which a 19 year old Dalit girl was gang raped and murdered. At the conclusion of the silent protest, Chhotray Kisku noted, �The Hathras incident has once again taken the lid off the BJP governance. No one is safe in BJP ruled states where the confidence of criminals are at an all time high and incidents of rape and other crimes are taking place in broad daylight. We demand that President�s Rule is im[posed in Uttar Pradesh.�

After the satyagrah, the district Congress observed two minutes� silence in prayer for the peace of Minority Welfare Minister Haji Hussain Ansari�s soul. Those present on the occasion were Ajmal Balkhi, Roshan Khanam, Vikas Banra, Raj Bagchi, Rahul Mudi, Bharat Kumar and other Congress members.
