Saraikela college principal achieves laurels for the state

Jamshedpur: The principal of Kashi Sahu College in Saraikela, Dr GP Rajwar was honored at the Krishna Menon House in New Delhi, for his outstanding contributions in the field of higher education.

The International Institute of Education and Management, New Delhi, awarded Dr Rajwar for being selected the best educationist. The Indian Solidarity Council of New Delhi, honored him with Bharat Vidya Shiromani Puraskar.

These organizations had invited top 56 educationists from the country but only two of them were awarded the gold medal at the national level. One of them was Dr GP Rajwar, was also presented a certificate and a letter of appreciation. Dr Rajwar was the only educationist from Jharkhand selected for the awards.

Dr GP Rajwar is the principal of Saraikela�s Kashi Sahu College, a constituent of Kolhan University. He had authored and published a book, �Contemporary Political Sociology,� which is a part of the syllabus of post graduate course at the Delhi and Kolkata universities.

A resident of Chandil, Dr Rajwar dedicated his national awards to the people of Jharkhand. He opined, �There is no dearth of educationists in Jharkhand.�

In his message to students, Dr Rajwar stated, �Sheer dedication and hard work is required to make a mark in the educational horizon and other fields of pursuit. There is no alternative to hard work. If you want to achieve something in life, decide on your ambition and put in hard work to attain it.�
