Jamshedpur, Dec. 19: Andhra Association English School (AAES)organized the 25th annual sports day at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Monday, December 19.
Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Shukla Mahanty, Principal, Jamshedpur Women’s College. Several sporting events were held during the day.
The programme started with Drill by the students where Pom Pom Drill was presented by LKG to Std. II, Ring Drill was presented by Std. III to V while Formation Drill was presented by Std. VI to VIII.
LKG participated in match the Objects & Shapes, UKG students in Bursting the Balloon (Boys), Cap Race (Girls). For Std. I Mask Race (Boys) and Garlanding Race (Girls) was conducted. Std. II participated in Crossing the Ring (Boys) and Miss A. A. E. S. (Girls).
Senior class students participated in Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, Shot Put, Long Jump, High Jump, Relay Race (4X100), Mixed Relay.
In the Tug of War Std. XI and XII participated where winner was Std. XI (Boys) and Std. XII (Girls). The Best March Past award was received by Boys & Girls of Std. XII. The overall winner was Sapphire House while runner-up was Topaz House. Best Athlete Boy was Md. Murad of std. X and Best Athlete Girl was Sunita Bandra of std. XII.
Prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest Dr. Shukla Mahanty, Principal, Jamshedpur Women’s College and the other dignitaries of the school management.
