Jamshedpur: The residents of Road Number 1, Sankosai, Dimna Road, are a harassed lot these days. The reason behind their dissidence is the plight of power scenario in the locality.
The residents alleged that the electricity department officials concerned have failed to take action on the complaint regarding a dysfunctional transformer in the locality.
They said the transformer went out of order after fire erupted in it two weeks ago. The SDO of Jharkhand State Electricity Board reportedly did not take action on the complaint.
The residents eventually complained to the MLA of Jamshedpur West Saryu Roy who has assured to solve their problem.
