Jamshedpur, Jan 9: The nomination process for the post of Jamshedpur Metropolitan district president and state council representatives of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was completed on Friday under the party’s organisational drive “Sangathan Parv” at the district office in Sakchi. The process was conducted in a peaceful and enthusiastic atmosphere.
District vice-president Sanjeev Sinha filed the only nomination for the post of BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan district president. For the posts of state council representatives, former MP Abha Mahato, former MLA Menaka Sardar, state minister Nandji Prasad, former district president Binod Singh, state executive committee member Manoj Singh and Kisan Morcha district president Muchiram Bauri submitted their nomination papers.
The entire nomination process was carried out under the supervision of district election officer and state general secretary Manoj Singh, along with election observer and former MLA Biranchi Narayan. A large number of party leaders and workers, including current district president Sudhanshu Ojha, senior leaders, district office-bearers, newly elected mandal presidents and mandal representatives, were present on the occasion.
Speaking after the process, district election officer Manoj Singh said the nomination process had been completed in accordance with party guidelines, ensuring transparency and discipline. Current district president Sudhanshu Ojha informed that the formal announcement of the newly elected district president and state council representatives will be made on Saturday at 1 pm at the district BJP office in Sakchi.
