Sangeet Samaj Telco hosts grand finale of ‘Megh Utsav’

Jamshedpur: Sangeet Samaj Telco hosted the second and final phase of “Megh Utsav” celebrating the anniversary of “Swarna Rekha Nandini.” The event was organized into three sessions.

The chief guest was Achintya Kumar Das, a senior officer at Tata Steel and a writer. The special guests included Arvind Mitra, Senior Deputy Divisional Manager at Tata Steel and a drama director, and Parth Mukhopadhyay, Administrative Officer at Tata Motors Hospital and the Chief Secretary of the music society.

During the first session, the guests were honored with bouquets, medals, and robes. Dr. Meena Mukherjee, President of Swarna Rekha Nandini, gave the welcome speech. The session featured Udbodhini music performed by Swarna Rekha Nandini members. Additionally, two poetry books by Sujata Ghosh and Shilpi Chakraborty were released. This session was conducted by Dr. Manoj Kumar Pathak, the Secretary.

The second session was a literary ceremony with participation from Swarna Rekha Nandini members, including Dr. Meena Mukherjee, Ruma Mukherjee, Sujata Ghosh, Shilpi Chakraborty, Krishna Sahu, Mallika Bhattacharya, Chandra Dev, Sudipta Jethi Raut, and Neeta Biswas. Saraswati Das conducted this session.

In the final session, conducted by Krishna Sahu, prizes were awarded to students by the chief guests. Dr. Meena Mukherjee concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
