Ranchi, Sept 24: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Sammed Shikharji situated at Parasnath will be developed as a centre of spiritual enlightenment where people from all over the world will come and experience the natural bliss.
He said that there will be no alteration with the basic infrastructure and ecology of this sacred Jain pilgrimage, Parasnath which is an object of worship for the people having the Jaina faith. Simultaneously, an infrastructure of international standard will be developed for the devotees and pilgrims maintaining the sanctity of this holy place. He said it while talking with a delegation of Jain Community from Ahmadabad & Mumbai.
CM assured the delegation that the spiritual sanctity of Parasnath will be retained and the pious belief and faith of the Jain community will be taken care of by the Government. Before developing the basic infrastructural facilities at Madhuban, the Government will keep in mind the faith and opinions of the Jain community.
On the basis of unanimous suggestions received from various individuals and societies and religious bodies, the Government will develop the areas from Madhuban to Parasnath as a markable world-class spiritual centre. Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar said that the suggestions of the individuals / societies and Jain religious bodies will be enlisted & put forth for consideration in a high level meeting.
On this occasion, Bhavik G Lalan from Mumbai, Mukesh Kr. Doshi, NRI Shrenik Zaveri thanked Chief Minister Raghubar Das for considering their point of view regarding maintaining piousness of Parasnath. At the same time they said that they will visit Parasnath very soon accompanying eminent planners / architects and submit their proposal to the State Government.
