Jamshedpur, May 10: The 22 day voters� awareness drive conducted by Samarthya Welfare Trust concluded today. The drive was conducted in various parts of the city. Samarthya president Pallavi Deep in her concluding remarks observed, �Urban voters especially women are usually disinterested in casting their votes. Some people go into a holiday mood on polling day. Some others who are against the concept of democracy advocate the NOTA option.�
Motivating first time voters, Pallavi said that voting is a festival of democracy and they should exercise their constitutional right to franchise with a sense of joy and pride. �Follow your voice of conscience to elect a stable government,� she stated.
The 22 day voters� awareness drive conducted by Samarthya included patron Rita Mishra, Julie Singh, Shilpi Singh, Mira Tiwary, Chanda Singh, Manju Singh, Ritu Sonekar, Maya Singh, Rani Singh, Jayanti Hema and Moni Singh.
