Jamshedpur: The convenor of city-based NGO �Samarpan� Lalit Das today distributed sweets, study materials and firecrackers among the inmates of Birsa Ashram at Burmamines. He was accorded a warm welcome by the inmates who presented a bouquet to him on the occasion.
In his address, Das said that the NGO wanted to share the happiness of Diwali with the inmates.
He said the firecrackers given to the kids should be burnt under the supervision of adults. He congratulated the inmates and other local residents ahead of Deepawali.
Among those present on the occasion included Laxmi Nidhi, chairman of Jharkhand Kushtha Kalyan Samiti, Mukesh Kumar, Rajesh Anand, Mukesh Kumar, Rajesh Anand, Dablu Das, Neelkamal, Mukdu, Mailani Devi, Laxmi Devi, Usha, Rupesh Sahu, Neeraj, Deepak, Gyan and Pradeep Dubey.
