Jamshedpur: Members of city-based social organization Samarpan have complained to the district administration about alleged misuse of the outfit�s name by certain individuals for their vested interests.
In a letter to the deputy commissioner (DC) and senior superintendent of police (SSP) of East Singhbhum, Neeraj Kumar, an official of the organization, said few people were trying to misuse the name of Samarpan in a bid to take advantage of its growing popularity in the city.
He demanded that the district administration should take strict action against the culprits. He said no one should get misguided by frauds claiming to be a representative of the organization.
The outfit�s convener is Lalit Das, son of Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
