Jamshedpur, April 20: Social organization ‘Samadhan’ on Wednesday released the products
made by small industry ‘Sakhi-Saheli’ during the last day of the foundation week celebration at Gandhi Ashram in Baradwari.
At the event district welfare officer Ranjana Mishra was present as the chief guest while guest of honour was CDPO Sandhya Rani, Satya Thakur and social worker Prabha Jiswal.
On the occasion Poonam Vig, president of Samadhan, said, the small industry was established three months back were six needy women were provided jobs.
A campaign was launched before the mass wedding of 11 girls and they found out that there is lack of awareness among the rural girls in relation to their health.
During their menstrual cycle they are dependent on the old myths and the main reason behind this was lack of education.
