Jamshedpur, April 6: In order to elevate Jamshedpur to the top five clean cities of India, �Samadhan� on Wednesday launched a cleanliness drive at Gandhi Ashram premises in Baradwari.
The event was led by the organization�s general secretary Harjit Bhati and Poonam Sahu in presence of trustee Dinesh Sahu, president Poonam Vig, Ankit Anand, Amita Mahendra, Ajay Singh, Santosh and several local residents.
Poonam Vig said, �We should maintain cleanliness around us so that we can keep diseases at bay. A small attempt can save us from several dangerous diseases.�
The entire Gandhi Ashram and nearby areas were cleaned during the drive and the members said that the drive will continue across the city.
