Jamshedpur: Members of city-based social organization Samadhan organized a plantation programme at Golden Leaf Resort in Pardih on Sunday. A total of 25 saplings were planted today. A pledge to plant 008 trees was taken by the outfit members earlier. In the last three years, altogether 965 trees have been planted. In the coming days, the target of planting 1008 trees would be achieved, said the outfit members.
The dignitaries present during the plantation drive included the outfit patron Dinesh Kumar, president Poonam Vig, Beena Khirwal, Sunita Sachdev, Amarjeet Singh Raja and Amit Mahendru.
