Sahil, Shreya bag All-rounder award at KSMS Prize Nite

Jamshedpur, July 1: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) celebrated its Annual Prize Nite for the academic session 2023-24 at the KSMS Auditorium. The event, held on June 28th, 2024, honored the meritorious students of classes VIII to XII.

The ceremony was inaugurated by Chief Guest Parul Singh, SDM/SDO of Dhalbhum, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum, along with Chairman Mr. K.P.G. Nair, who jointly lit the ceremonial lamp. In her address, Ms. Singh encouraged the achievers to stay motivated and shared an activity to inspire students to think creatively. She emphasized the importance of persistence and consistent effort in achieving one’s goals.

The event saw the distribution of trophies and letters of appreciation to all-rounder students and those who achieved the highest marks in various subjects in the ICSE and ISC Year 2024 Examinations. Additionally, Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded to the top three students in the Std. X and XII Board Examinations 2024.

ISC 2024 (Std. XII Exam) Top Achievers:

1. Shreya Agarwal – 1st Place, Gold Medal, 97%
2. Ariba Razi – 2nd Place, Silver Medal, 96.5%
3. Anushka Singh – 3rd Place, Bronze Medal, 95%

ICSE 2024 (Std. X Exam) Top Achievers:

1. Arindam Patra – 1st Place, Gold Medal, 98%
2. Talha Zeyad & Sahil Saha – 2nd Place, Silver Medal, 97%
3. Rishabh Kumar Shah & Krishiv Agarwal – 3rd Place, Bronze Medal, 96.6%

The top three students in the ICSE 2024 Examinations were awarded free studentship for the next two academic years (XI & XII). This year’s recipients of the scholarship include Arindam Patra, Talha Zeyad, Sahil Saha, Rishabh Kumar Shah, and Krishiv Agarwal.

Students who represented the school at various CISCE Sports Events at the National Level were also appreciated. These students are Sneha Prasad, Keshav Kumar, Shubh Agrahari, Victor Singh, Chirag Kishore, Kabita Singh, Vaishnabi Rai, Anushka Kumar, Nischal Kumar, Karandeep Singh, Khushi, Tanish Rathore, Rishabh Prasad, and Md. Affanuddin.

Special awards were presented to:

• Sahil Saha – All-rounder Award for Std. X
• Shreya Agarwal – All-rounder Award for Std. XII
• Nandani Kumari (Std. XI) – Hemprabha Shukla Scholar
• Priyanshu Kumar – Best Scout Award
• Seema Kumari Dutta – Best Guide Award

KSMS alumni members Mr. Manish Choudhary, Ms. Kavita Agarwal, and Mr. Anish Moudia were recognized for their significant contributions to the growth of the organization.

The event featured musical performances and a group dance by the students, adding a lively touch to the celebration.
