Jamshedpur: The 53rd National Safety Week commenced at the premises of Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited Company located at Padampur, Seraikela. The Safety Week programme, which began on Monday, witnessed the active participation of employees and officers who took an oath to prioritize and uphold safety standards in their workplace. The week-long initiative will run until March 9, fostering a culture of safety and awareness within the organization.
The CEO of Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited, Arun Kumar Mishra, inaugurated the Safety Week program. The chief guest, CEO Arun Kumar Mishra, hoisted the safety flag in the courtyard, symbolizing the commencement of a dedicated week focused on safety awareness and practices. Following this, the Electrical Head, Sanjeev Chaudhary, administered the safety oath to the employees and officers present, emphasizing the critical role of safety in daily operations.
Addressing the gathering, the CEO underscored the paramount importance of safety and emphasized the need to adhere to safety rules and standards. He stated, “The way of working helps in keeping oneself safe,” encouraging a culture where safety is integral to every aspect of the work environment. Mishra congratulated the company’s employees for achieving a zero-accident year in 2023, highlighting the collective commitment to safety.
As part of the Safety Week kickoff, a safety march was organized in the plant premises, with employees raising slogans related to safety. The march served as a visible and enthusiastic expression of the organization’s commitment to a safe working environment.
MMD Department Head NSP Rao delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the Safety Week activities. Electrical Head Sanjeev Chaudhary administered the safety oath to the employees and officers present.
Operations Department Head Amal Vaidya expressed gratitude and appreciation for the active participation of all employees. Baljeet Sansoa of Corporate Communications moderated the program, ensuring its smooth flow.
Safety Week will continue until March 9, featuring various safety-related competitions aimed at engaging employees and reinforcing safety practices. The collaborative efforts of Manoj Acharya, Bidesh Bid, Vimal Mandal from the security department, and all employees contributed significantly to the success of the program.
