Jamshedpur, March 4: Safety week commenced at Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, Padampur plant premises on Thursday to commemorate 50th National Safety week-2021. Week-long programme will conclude on 10th March.
Raghvendra Kumar Singh, managing director, Adhunik Power & Natural Resources Limited, emphasized on the importance of safety in human life.
During his address to the employees, Singh said, “Every employee is an asset to the company and they should consider and adopt safety as an essential part of their daily routine.”
Earlier, Singh inaugurated the programme by hoisting the safety flag followed by safety oath administered by M N Singh, Head (Operation & Maintenance).
Factory Manager of the company NSP Rao also shared his experiences with employees and contracting agencies wherein he imparted knowledge of safety measures which may be implemented at the workstations.
B N Sundray of Safety department delivered the inaugural speech while Anil Kumar Soni, Head, Human Resources proposed the vote of thanks and also compered the programme. HoDs of different departments and employees were present on the occasion.
