Sacred Heart Convent School Jamshedpur bestows honour on top performers

Committed to excellence and holistic growth, says Principal

Jamshedpur, June 21: Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur celebrated its much-awaited Annual Prize Nite 2025 with grandeur and joy, honouring student excellence and achievements across academic and co-curricular spheres. The evening was marked by enthusiasm, pride, and celebration as students, teachers, and parents gathered to reflect on a year of stellar performance.

The event began with the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp, followed by a soulful prayer service and a graceful prayer dance.

Highlight of the evening was the captivating performance by the school’s youngest talents, who showcased oratory skills by reciting a poem with remarkable finesse.The students of the High School Choir entertained the audience with a song.

Principal Sister M. Steffi A.C. presented the annual school report, detailing the institution’s continued commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. She appreciated the dedicated efforts of both students and faculty, emphasizing the school’s focus on fostering a culture of innovation and learning.

Meritorious students were felicitated with trophies, mementos, and certificates. Shreyasi Mukherjee received the Ram Awtar Chachra Memorial Trophy for securing the highest marks in ICSE (98.6%).

In ISC, Harnoor Sandhu was awarded both the Chandrashekar Trophy and the Indira Patnaik Memorial Trophy for scoring the highest in the Arts Stream and overall (98.25%). K.S. Shivani topped the Commerce Stream (98%) and received the Sampuran Singh Trophy. In the Science stream, Snehal Rai (Pure Science, 98%) and Aaryaa (Bio Science, 95.25%) were honoured with the Leo Pereira Trophy.

In the Primary section, D. Tanvi was named Best Carmel Girl, and A. Manvi received the Best Outstanding Primary Student Award.

Middle School honours included the Ubaldo Gomes Memorial Trophy for all-rounder Sahana Gurunathan and the Leadership Award for Class 6, presented to Varanya Srivastava in memory of Asha Lata Sinha.

Additionally, students with perfect attendance records were recognized for their commendable dedication.
