Sacred Heart Convent girls exhibit oratory skills

Jamshedpur, Aug 1: To develop self-confidence and personality development among the students, Sacred Heart Convent School organised Hindi elocution contest in the school hall on August 1, for classes 6 to 12. It was judged by Vidya Tiwary and Zeeta Banerjee.

The oratory skills displayed by the participants were of the highest order. The girls were very well prepared and their flawless rendition signified perfect diction, intonation and expression. The competition was tough and the judges had a difficult task deciding the winner.

From Class 6 – Kanak Bajpayee won the first prize and Shambhavi Tiwary got second.  Jessica Jose and Debyani Das bagged the top two positions in the contest held for classes 7 and 8. In the contest for classes 9 and 10 – Tulika Singh was the winner while the second spot was shared by Harshita Shankar and Saistha Ranjan.  Swati Bhattamishra and Shreya Pandey of class 11 won the contest. 

From class 12- Payala Aishwarya and Samoans Marwah were the winners.  Sr.  Rashmita, Sr. Valsa, Vidya Tiwary and Zeeta Banerjee gave away the prizes.  The judges congratulated the winners and encouraged the teachers and students.
