Jamshedpur: Students of Class 12 (Commerce stream) from RVS Academy visited ICICI Bank, Mango branch, on Tuesday to gain real-world exposure to modern banking operations. The educational visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of the financial sector.

Bank officials welcomed the students and conducted an interactive session covering key aspects of banking such as account management, loan processing, digital banking, credit facilities and investment options. Students also learned about financial discipline, customer relations and data security.

A special segment on cyber fraud prevention educated students about phishing, online scams and secure banking practices. The officers explained safety measures to help customers safeguard their transactions — a session that students found highly insightful.

“It was an eye-opening experience,” said one of the students. “Seeing how the bank operates made our textbook lessons come alive.”

RVS Academy Chairman Binda Singh stated, “True education goes beyond books. Practical exposure empowers our students to think critically and prepare confidently for professional life.” Principal Veesha Mohindra added that such initiatives inspire students to explore careers in finance with enthusiasm and clarity.

The visit concluded with students returning motivated and better informed about career possibilities in banking and finance.
