Jamshedpur: To inculcate respect and love for the elderly in our lives, R.V.S Academy celebrated Grandparents Day in the school premises on January 19 for the Pre Primary section. Grandparents play a pivotal role in the development of the youngsters, they are playmates, storytellers, morale boosters and are a major support during any family disruptions.
The programme was graced by the august presence of the Chairman Binda Singh, members of the executive committee Shatrughana Singh, Shakti Singh, Principal Mitali Roy Choudhury, Vice Principal Shalini Kumar and all faculty members. The guests were welcomed with a welcome song, English and Hindi recitations, a short skit and dance was presented by the talented young participants.
The grandparents were extremely delighted by the show put up by their grandchildren. The smile on their faces was a proof that they were thoroughly enthralled. The young performers were superbly trained by their teachers. The program ended on a happy note with the blessings of all.
