Jamshedpur: Two girl students of Rajendra Vidyalaya (RV) have won laurels at the 42nd National Yoga Sports Championship held from 25th to 28th October, 2017 at HRIT College, Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh). Anusha Karmakar of class XII-E won bronze medal in the Athletic Yoga event, gold medal in the Artistic Yoga Solo, Artistic Yoga Pair and Free Flow Yoga Dance in the senior category.
In the junior category Anushka Karmakar of class VII-D won four gold medals in the Athletic Yoga, Artistic Yoga Pair, Rythmic Yoga Pair and Free Flow Yoga Dance event. She also won a silver medal in the Artistic Yoga Solo event. At the event Ashok Kumar Aggarwal, President, Yoga Federation Of India was also present. Upon their arrival in Jamshedpur the students were felicitated by Principal Rakhi Banerjee who congratulate them and wished them luck for the future.
