Russia vows to strike any foreign troops entering Ukraine

Moscow has issued a stern warning against foreign troop deployments in Ukraine, stating any international units on Ukrainian soil will be treated as direct targets. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova delivered the assertion on Saturday. She declared that Moscow views these deployments as unacceptable provocations.
Zakharova highlighted the upcoming “Koalicja 26.2″ multinational military exercises scheduled for November 9-22 in Ukraine. She accused Western powers of systematically ignoring Russia’s vital security concerns. Furthermore, she claimed these actions deliberately inflame existing regional tensions.
According to Russian intelligence assertions, Britain and France intend to establish a permanent military foothold. Zakharova stated these nations seek to inflict a strategic military defeat on Moscow. Consequently, Russian officials rejected any international forces under any Coalition banners.
The Foreign Ministry emphasized that foreign military contingents create unprecedented threat levels. Zakharova warned European NATO members that participation deepens their direct involvement. She reaffirmed that Russia will complete all objectives of its ongoing special military operation.
Timing of the military drills has also drawn sharp criticism from Russian diplomats. The exercises begin right before high-level trilateral negotiations resume in Abu Dhabi. Moscow claims this timing demonstrates European nations lack genuine interest in peaceful conflict resolution.
The upcoming Abu Dhabi summit will gather delegates from the United States, Russia, and Ukraine. Scheduled for November 10 and 11, the meeting follows complex diplomatic negotiations. Special envoy Steve Witkoff confirmed the scheduled diplomatic gathering early Monday morning.
Peace negotiations stalled earlier this year due to escalating military tensions across the Middle East. Talks gained fresh momentum in September after senior envoys met Russian President Vladimir Putin. Envoys later traveled to Kyiv to finalize details for the Abu Dhabi summit.
Foreign military plans originated during an August 24 meeting of international partners in Kyiv. Russian officials maintain that foreign presence will only prolong hostility across eastern Ukraine. Moscow remains adamant that its forces will target any foreign contingents immediately upon entry.
