Jamshedpur, Nov 7: Police arrested one of the two thieves who reportedly escaped from the lock-up of Sitaramdera police station on Wednesday last. The arrested accused was caught red-handed from Sri Sri Dakshineshwar Kali Mandir in Nirmalnagar, Bhuiyandih. Cops had arrested the thieves from the temple when they tried to steal valuables. One thief had managed to evade arrest.
Yesterday, local residents including political leaders had staged a demonstration before the police station after coming to know about the thieves� escape from lock-up. Acting under pressure, cops somehow managed to catch hold of one of the thieves.
