Company honors women achievers
Jamshedpur, March 10: RSB Transmission celebrated International Women’s Day with the resolve of equality and respect. This year’s women’s day was also celebrated at RSB Plant 3 on the theme “Embrace Equity”.
Not only did the women employees of RSB show enthusiasm in making this event a memorable one, but the talented family members of the employees also participated enthusiastically.
The company honored women who have worked for women empowerment.
Padma Shri Chhutni Mahato, Dronacharya Awardee Purnima Mahato, and Rani Sabreen have done remarkable work for the upliftment of primitive tribes were felicitated.
Apart from these, various educationists, artists and social workers were also present on the occasion including Pratibha Mohanty, and Suman Prasad.
Suman Prasad made live painting of Ardhanarishwar Lord Shiva on the theme of Women’s Day.
More than 100 women personnel showcased their talent.
Vice Chairman and Managing Director of RSB SK Behera along with wife Sangeeta Behera were present.
In his address, SK Behera not only encouraged the women employees but also expressed his desire to increase the number of women in the company’s work force by 30% in the coming times. “For RSB family, Women’s Day is not just a day, but it is also a mirror of our management’s thinking,” added Behera.
