Jamshedpur, May 14: Unidentified thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs 2 lakh from a thatched house in Hume Pipe Area under Sitaramdera police station area late Friday night. Cash and jewelry were stolen from the safe, said Yogendra Singh, the house owner.
Singh said he learnt about the theft when he got up at 5 am. He said none of his family members got a whiff of the thieves.
Police have registered an FIR against unidentified persons in this connection.
