Rotary’s all-women team wins treasure hunt contest

Jamshedpur, June 11: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West in association with Mercedes Benz (Tristar Motors) organised ‘Treasure Hunt Competition’ amongst Rotarians, Rotary Spouses, Rotarylets , Inner Wheel members , Rotaractors and their guests.

The event was organised at Mercedes Benz Tristar Motors Showroom in Adityapur and was flagged off by Ravi Parikh, Director, TriStar Motors and Dr R Bharat, Dist Governor Rotary District.

Total 13 teams participated in the competition with 4 members in each team.

The participants were dressed according to the themes and also decorated cars too beautifully.

Rotaractors of Karim City College were volunteers who manned the posts with placards and ensured smooth running of the show. There were 2 Prizes for Best turned out teams (Winner and runner up) and 2 prizes for overall winners (Treasure Hunt winner and Runner up).

There were rules to follow and markings were done according to the rules given to participants.

The winner of the Best Turned out category was all ladies team- who chose the theme of awareness and prevention against Cancer. The team comprised of Rotarian Jasmine Adesara, Manisha Kumar, Alka Garg and Anahita Taunk.
In the runner up category 2 teams had a tie and the winner was team TinTin comprising Achinto Bannerjee, Payal Ranjan, Amrit Kaur and Priyanshu Banerjee.

The other runner up team had the theme of Zero Carbon Environment and the members were Sunil Marwah, Sanjay Panda, Meghna Panda and Amit Garg.

In the Treasure Hunt competition- The team members Jasmine Adesara, Alka Garg, Anahita Taunk and Manisha Kumar were crowned the winners.

Treasure Hunt Runners Up team comprised of Niraj Agrawal, Priti Agrawal, Naman Agrawal and Mayank Agrawal
Rajiv Talwar, Dinesh Raisurana, Amitava Bakshi, Srikanth, Shweta Chand, Nikita Talwar, Sonia Raisurana, Arjun and Varun Raisurana, Aastha Talwar and entire team of Mercedes Benz Tristar Motors helped in making the programme successful
