Jamshedpur, Dec. 4: Members of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West on Sunday visited three villages in Boram area on the foothills of Dalma and distributed blankets, sarees and clothes.
Villagers experience regular visits of elephants and recently a big Cat also took cattle from one of the villages.
Most of the villagers are not economically sound, specially the old people.
They were very happy with the efforts of the rotary club by distribution of clothes and blankets.
This will help them in coming winter months to protect themselves. 150 blankets were distributed and approximate 200 sarees, 100 clothes for men and children. Around 400 people were benefited from the programme. Sacred Heart convent school Eco Club helped and donated 100 blankets.
At the event Rajnish, Rahul, Achinto, Sanjeev, Rajeev, Rajender, Mehul, Nutan, Aklavya,Anupama, Mrs Mathur, Mr Gope and Rotaract Rinku Kumar of Karim city college were present on the occasion.
