Jamshedpur: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City on Tuesday installed sanitary pad vending machine at a government school in Jugsalai.
AG Alokananda Bakshi inaugurated the pad vending machine. Addressing a gathering of 112 girls from class 5 to 8, Bakshi informed them about them about the importance of sanitary pads, usage, benefits and cleanliness aspect. The students were also told about how to operate the pad vending machine.
Principal of the school Pratima showed the girls how to take out pads by inserting Rs 5 coin. President of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City Hetal Adesara, school teachers and other club members were present.
