Rotary Steel City blood drive collected 142 units

Jamshedpur, July 1: Traditionally, the Rotary year starts on 1st July each year. This year, the District Governor Vivek Kumar requested the clubs of district 3250 to flag off the new Rotary year with a Blood Donation Camp. “Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person – The Gift of Life.

A decision to donate your blood can save a life”. The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City organised a blood donation camp on 1st July 2017 at the Red Cross Bhawan.

Rotarians in large numbers attended the camp. Present on the occasion was AG Rajender Sachdev, Army Jawans who attended in huge numbers and donated blood and their time for the cause. A total of 142 units of blood were collected at the camp. All the blood donors were felicitated by the club.
