Rotary Jamshedpur West to convert Bhatia Basti govt. school into ‘Happy School’

Jamshedpur, July 14: Rotary club of Jamshedpur West started working in Bhatia Basti government school to provide better facilities to children coming from nearby slum area.

The Club is working to convert the government run school into Happy School with help of Govt agencies and Club members. Currently around 200 children study at the school with class running from 1 to 8.

On Thursday, July 14 Rotary club members donated one Almirah for making library, 20 saplings for beautification of school and to inculcate habit of taking care of plants , various types of toys including a see saw ,water jug for use of children and 10 big learning charts for junior classes. Teachers were very much cooperative and children were very happy with the club’s initiatives.

The club members promised them that they will take care of their problems and they’ll be able to study comfortably.

On the occasion Club members including Rakesh, Shekhar , Dr Rita, Mamta, Anupama, Club secretary Shweta Chand, Nibha, Madhulika, Alpana, Preeti and President Alakananda Bakshi were present.
