Jamshedpur, Nov. 15: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organized a blood donation camp with the help of Rotarians, Rotary spouses, Inner wheel members, well wishers and citizens at Jamshedpur Blood bank in the memory of Late PP Kanwal Midha. Mrs. Pinky Midha inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp accompanied by Club President Rajender Sachdev, Secretary Alakananda Bakshi, First lady Sujata Sachdev, Shweta Chand and others.

President Rajender Sachdev was the first donor of the camp followed by Secretary Rtn Alakananda Bakshi and other members.

At the camp 55 units of blood was collected including 7 from lady donors. “This was an effort to create awareness amongst all that donating blood does not make donors unhealthy rather they experience the bliss of saving lives.

It also helps to know if somebody is suffering from any diseases and subsequently can get treated for those”, said Club President Rajender Sachdev.
