Jamshedpur: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West won the best club award for the year 2019-20. Rotarian Shweta Chand received the award at a function held in Patna. Under the dynamic leadership of Shweta Chand, club has been accorded the best club in Jharkhand for its work towards education, health, COVID-19 prevention, water and sanitation. Shweta Chand was also awarded the district service award for outstanding service in promoting the Rotary Foundation and its goal of world understanding and peace. Chand also bagged the outstanding president award.
Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West also won the Torchbearers Award for best organised OCVs, Torchbearers Award for water and sanitation project, best interact club was won by Kerala Samajam Model School of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, Rotary Citation Platinum award. Nibha Mishra won the club builders award.
