Jamshedpur, July 24: As part of its environment protection initiative, the Rotary Club of Dalma planted around 100 trees at Gyandeep School in Birsanagar, Telco. The plantation included fruit-bearing and medicinal plants. Students participated enthusiastically in the drive. Addressing the gathering, the club’s secretary urged students to take responsibility for nurturing the saplings and announced that a prize would be awarded to the student whose plant grows the best. A quiz game was also organized to engage the students further. The event was attended by the school’s Principal, teachers, students, and members of the Rotary Club of Dalma, marking a collective step towards environmental awareness.
