Rotary Femina plants 50 saplings at Jamshedpur High School

Jamshedpur, July 29: Members of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina along with the students of Jamshedpur High School, Bistupur on Wednesday joined hands for a�Tree Plantation Drive�at the school campus.

The program was a great success with enthusiastic participation of Students and Teachers of the school. At the event more than 50 saplings of fruits and flowers were planted.

The students were also told about the importance of planting trees for our environment and how to protect trees.

The tree plantation programme was launched today, this year, after assuring that the soil had received adequate rainfall which would help to improve the survival of the newly planted saplings.

The saplings would be nurtured by students who are thinking of further beautifying the place with flower beds, fruits and a green belt.

Members present at the event were President of the Club Sonal Agrawal, Pasam Adesara, Babita Kedia, Geeta Dubey, Neha Agrawal,Megha Tulsyan, Rashmi Singh, Jasmine, Vinita, Shashi, Shweta Jalan, Reena, and Vandana.
