Rotary Femina make underprivileged women aware of breast feeding

Jamshedpur, August 3: Observing World Breast Feeding Week, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina organized a talk on breastfeeding at Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir on Monday. Dr. Rashmi Agrawal gave a talk on �Mother and child care and Breastfeeding�.

The mothers of the students studying at Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir were directed how to grow up their child, what are the benefits of breastfeeding and how it brings a change in lives and relation of a mother and her child.

They were also told�Breast milk is best for your baby, and the benefits of breastfeeding extend well beyond basic nutrition.

In addition to containing all the vitamins and nutrients your baby needs in the first six months of life, breast milk is packed with disease-fighting substances that protect your baby from illness.�Breastfeeding can reduce a child’s risk of developing certain childhood cancers.

Breast feeding provides ideal nutrition to the infants and contributed to their healthy growth and development. Many underprivileged mothers were benefitted.

Members present at the event were President Sonal Agrawal, Pasam Adesara, Dr. Rashmi Agrawal, Babita Kedia, Neha Agrawal, Shashi Gadia, Monideepa Dondopat and all the teachers of the school.
