Chaibasa, Oct. 17: Rotary Club organized a debate contest in the memory of Fauja Singh Khokhar under the aegis of Khokhar family at Rotary corner on Tuesday. The topic of the debate was ‘heavy school bag is harmful to the students’.
The jury of the debate was Suralin Topno. The principal of Mahila College Dr. Sparklin Dei, Rotarian Niranjan Prasad Sau and others were present.
The first position was bagged by Isita Kumari, student of Saint Viveka, while second position was achieved jointly by Rishabh Parikh and Gaja Afifa and third position was secured by Ananta Khirawal, student of DAV and Sunita Hembra Saint Viveka School. All the participants were awarded prizes. At the event a large number of rotarians and school students were present.
