Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Midtown dedicates Computer and Saheli Centre

Jamshedpur: To celebrate the onset of the new Rotary Year, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Midtown (RCJMT) inaugurated a series of impactful projects under the leadership of new President Preeti Saini, Secretary Rajeshwar Jaiswal, and the new Board of Directors. The event was marked by the inauguration of a Computer Centre, a Saheli Centre for vocational training for women, a Mother-Child Care Centre, a plantation drive, and a medical camp for children at Adarsh Seva Sansthan in Sonari. AG Nikita Mehta graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Dr. Arvind Dinkar, a paediatrician, along with the medical team from Magadh Samrat Hospital, conducted health check-ups for 30 children from the creche and the employees of Adarsh Seva Sansthan. The team also distributed necessary medicines, ensuring the well-being of the attendees.

President Preeti Saini welcomed the gathering, emphasizing the Rotary’s commitment to service above self and the joy of bringing smiles to the faces of those in need. She reiterated the club’s dedication to creating magic through perseverance, determination, and dedication, aligning with this year’s Rotary International (RI) Presidential theme.

 Ashish Das briefed the attendees on the program’s agenda and the significance of July 1 in the Rotary calendar. AG Nikita Mehta officially inaugurated the Saheli Centre and the Computer Centre, appreciating RCJMT’s efforts in covering all seven areas of focus of Rotary International.
