Mobility Restored: Rotary Club Jamshedpur Donates Tricycles to Polio-Affected Residents in Mango

Jamshedpur: Under its Divyaang Project, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City donated tricycles to two underprivileged persons in Azad Nagar, Mango, bringing much-needed relief and mobility support to the beneficiaries.

The tricycles were handed over to Md Abrar Alam and Md Imteyaaz, both polio-affected and facing severe mobility challenges. Until now, they had been moving around with great difficulty. Expressing gratitude, the beneficiaries said the tricycles would significantly improve their independence and ease of movement in daily life.

The beneficiaries were identified by Human Welfare Trust, a highly active social organization working in Azad Nagar. The distribution ceremony was organized by the Trust under the leadership of Mukhtar Khan.

The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Steel City was represented by its president, Krishna Kumar Kharia, and secretary Jitesh Kumar, while Udit Agarwal played a key role in the successful implementation of the project.

The event was attended by several senior and respected members of society, who appreciated the initiative and lauded Rotary’s continued commitment towards empowering persons with disabilities and promoting inclusive development.
