Rotaract Club inaugurated at Srinath University, Akshat Rathore appointed President

Jamshedpur, May 5: Srinath University marked a new chapter in student leadership and social responsibility with the launch of its Rotaract Club under the guidance of Rotary Club Femina Jamshedpur. The induction ceremony celebrated youth empowerment and community service.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Rotarian Ronnie D’Costa, who delivered an inspiring address on the values of Rotary and the transformative role of youth. “Leadership is recognized by action, not by position,” he emphasized, urging the new office bearers to lead with dedication, empathy, and a commitment to service.

The program began with a warm welcome of Srinath University students by Rotary Club Femina members, followed by an introduction to the principles and mission of the global Rotaract movement. During the formal induction, members pledged to uphold the Rotaract ideals of friendship, honesty, and social responsibility.

Key office bearers of the newly formed Rotaract Club included Akshat Rathore (President), Saurav Kumar Sahu (Vice President), Pushkar Singh (Chair), Rai Nandkishore Tiwari (Treasurer), Hridyansh Raj (Public Image Chair), Anurag Kumar (Service Project Chair), Diwakar Kumar (Rotary Foundation Chair) and Shalini Ojha (Club Moderator).

The ceremony concluded with a strong message of unity and service, laying a solid foundation for the club’s future initiatives aimed at community development and youth leadership.
