Rohan of Church School and Reet of JH Tarapore take top pedestal at CISCE Zonal Carrom Tournament

Jamshedpur, July 28: Rohan Kumar Singh of Church School Beldih was declared the winner in the U-19 (Singles) Boys category. Mohd. Ibtesham and Sohail Akhter of KPS Mango bagged the second and third spot respectively on the final day (Friday) of the IVth CISCE Zonal Carrom Tournament 2023 hosted by JH Tarapore School.

In the U-19 (Singles) Girls category Reet Agarwal and Prachi Modanwal of JH Tarapore School took the top two spots while Khushi Kumari of KPS Gamharia was third.

Awais Raza & Shadab Ansari of KPS Mango was the winners in U-19 (Doubles) Boys Category followed by Harsh Vardhan Sharma & Aditya Gope of SKPS and Yash Sona & Adarsh Dubey of Church School Beldih.

In the U-19 (Doubles) Girls Category, Sneha Mahato & Suhani Kamal of KPS Gamharia emerged as the winners.

Aayat Sheikh & Ridhima Bisoi of Church School Beldih bagged the second spot, while Sagarika Sharma & Yesha Agarwal of DBMS English School secured the third position.

During the three-day trials, young carrom enthusiasts from different schools showcased exceptional skills and unwavering determination. The IVth Zonal Carrom Tournament 2023 celebrated their talent emphasizing on sportsmanship and fair play. The Participants earned themselves a coveted opportunity to proudly represent their schools on the regional platform.

Earlier, the closing ceremony witnessed the presence of Chief Guest Dr Hasan Imam Mallick, Assistant Manager of Health and Wellness at Tata Steel.

The closing ceremony celebrated participants’ achievements and expressed gratitude to all the contributors – School Management, Organizing Committee, Faculty, Volunteers, and the Media – for their invaluable support in ensuring the tournament’s success.
