Indian Obstetrics Gynecological Society holds conference
Jamshedpur:Indian Obstetrics Gynecological Society’s semi-annual conference was organised in Jamshedpur on Sunday.
Dr. Sudhir Rai, GM, Medical Services, Tata Steel while inaugurating the conference emphasized the need to advance gynecological surgeries and advocated for introducing robotic surgery in Jamshedpur.
The conference included a surgical workshop at Mercy Hospital in Baridih, where specialists discussed new techniques related to women’s health, particularly addressing diabetes in pregnant women.
Doctors highlighted the importance of regular antenatal check-ups for pregnant women and underscored the repercussions of neglecting them.
The event, was attended by Dr. Devdas, Dr. Aloka Nanda, Dr. Somanath Ghosh, Dr. ES Chakravarti, Dr. Champai Soren, Dr. Vinod Agrawal, Dr. Sarita Kumari, and Dr. Sanyukta Nanda, along with medical students.
The conference covered serious issues like cervical cancer and debated the optimal timing for vaccinations.
