Jamshedpur, April 5: RMS High School, Khuntadih (Sonari), celebrated its 25-year journey in education with a grand Silver Jubilee celebration  held at the XLRI Auditorium. The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of students, alumni, parents, educationists and distinguished guests, making it a memorable occasion.

The celebration began with a warm welcome extended to the guests by Rajasthan Maitri Sangh (RMS) president Sanjay Kedia, along with other office bearers and principal Dr. Parinita Shukla. The dignitaries felicitated Dr. Sunita Mukherjee, former head of the United Nations Population Fund, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Saurabh Tiwary, Secretary of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association and former Indian cricketer, who was the Guest of Honour.

Speakers on the occasion highlighted the school’s remarkable journey—from its humble beginnings as a small Hindi-medium institution with just 37 students up to Class 5, to its present status as a CBSE-affiliated English-medium 10+2 school with 1,394 students. The school has shown excellence not only in academics but also in sports and co-curricular activities, earning CBSE affiliation for Class 10 in 2016.

Addressing the gathering, the guests praised the school’s management and its contribution to shaping future citizens. They emphasized that today’s students would play a vital role in building the nation and securing its future.

The event was attended by several prominent members of the Rajasthan Maitri Sangh, including vice presidents Manish Jain and Kumud Agarwal, secretary Sushil Agarwal, treasurer Sanjeev Badhan, and other distinguished members and trustees, who contributed to the success of the celebration.
