Jamshedpur, Dec 17: RMS High School, Balichela, organised annual prize distribution ceremony in a grand and dignified manner, honouring meritorious students for their achievements in academics, co-curricular activities and discipline. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and parents.
The chief guest, Ronald D’Costa, inspired the students with his address, urging them to achieve success through hard work, discipline and strong moral values. He appreciated the school’s efforts in nurturing all-round development and said such programmes help build confidence and a healthy competitive spirit among students.

Several members of the school management were present on the occasion, including School Management Committee Chairman Sanjay Kedia, trustees R.K. Jhunjhunwala, Shiv Shankar Gadia and Deepak Dokania, and vice presidents Manish Jain, Vijay Kumar Tulsyan, Babita Kedia, Shashi Gadia and Deepali Dokania. They lauded the achievements of the school and expressed confidence that it would continue to scale new heights in the future.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a welcome song. This was followed by a colourful cultural presentation by the students based on the nine rasas (emotions), which captivated the audience.
During the prize distribution ceremony, a total of 88 students were felicitated. Harsh Kumar Gupta was specially honoured for his outstanding performance in the ICSE board examination. Students including Debojit Modak, Akanksha Gorai, Sonal Sona, Vanshika Kumari and Nandini Sharma were awarded for their excellent performance in various subjects.
Principal Pratima Sinha, in her address, stressed the importance of academic excellence and holistic growth, and expressed optimism about the school’s continued progress. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
