Jamshedpur, Aug 29: RMS High School organised inter house basketball, handball and badminton tournament on the occasion of National Sports Day on Tuesday.
Students of class 6 to 10 participated in sporting events house wise. Blue house was the winner and Green house was declared the runner-up for the event.
The tournament was under the supervision of HOD (Sports) Rahul Kumar Gupta.
Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr Parineeta Shukla, Principal, RMS High School. She awarded the students.
The National Sports Day in India is celebrated on 29 August every year. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand Singh.
