Jamshedpur, May 25: In a glittering function, attended by industry luminaries, held at Hotel Westin, Pune, RK Behera, Chairman, RSB Group, was conferred with �Super Entrepreneur Award 2015� from the hands of Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister of State, MSME,�organized by Times of India Group, (Machinist). Mr. Behera was awarded for his extraordinary journey of entrepreneurship,�who has added great value to the industry in particular and the economy as well as society in general with his vision and leadership.
While Behera, in his acceptance speech, felt truly honored by this award, said that,� he shared this award with his brother, SK Behera, who has been co-piloting last four decades in his entrepreneurial journey,� started in a humble way� in 1975 with a meager monetary help of Rs 15,000/- from his father and RSB now has grown into multi-product/multi-locational global engineering enterprise with 13 state-of-the-art manufacturing plants spread over 7 locations in India namely Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), Pune (Maharashtra), Dharwad (Karnataka), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Pantnagar (Uttarakhand), Cuttack (Orissa) and Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh); and one each in Homer (USA), Silao (Mexico) and partnered venture� at Brazil, with cumulative employment base of more than 4,000 persons.�
While thanking his parents who have been source of inspiration, as also customers, bankers and investors for reposing faith in him in his entrepreneurial journey, he also thanked RSBians for his success and also for the coveted award Deming Prize won in 2013.
