Jamshedpur, Dec. 25:Rising Sun English School organised its annual day function at school premises in Gadabasa on Saturday.
Chief Guest for the occasion was ADM Subodh Kumar, guest of honour was social worker Anil Kabra along with DAV Patelnagar principal SK Singh and English teacher of Mount Litera School Amitabh Sengupta.
The function was inaugurated by guests and school managing committee members. The cultural programme started with Ganesh Vandana where Manisha Kumari and priyanka Kumari presented songs and dance.
At the event general secretary of the school Parmanand Kaushal presented the annual report of the school. Principal of the school Shukla Majumdar informed about the achievements of the school during the last one year.
During Fashion show students were seen walking the ramp dressed in traditional attire of different states. Students also presented short play on water conservation and its importance.
Students presented Barbie girl and hip-hop dance which made the audience spell bound while some students presented Rajasthani dance. President of the school managing committee, Khem Lal Choudhary said, school is poised to provide quality education to the students.
At the event students who had put up excellent performance were awarded. Parents Ajay Yadav, Ajit Singh, Pramod Kumar who is conscious towards development of their kids were also felicitated.
The programme was anchored by secretary of school managing committee cum BJP district president Dinesh Kumar and school teacher Lubna Noor. The vote of thanks was extended by Minti Devi.
