Jamshedpur: Rickshaw and lorry pullers blocked road near DC office in protest agianst Goldie Tiwary parking contractor for charging Rs 25 and 30.
In protest against the move the drivers staged demonstration and blocked Deputy Commissioner’s office road.
Rickshaw drivers alleged that the bus stand contractor in charging much from them. Meanwhile, after the drivers staged demsontration at JNAC JMM party leaders also supported the cause.
Former JMM MP Suman Mahato, Babar Khan and Sunil Mahato supported the agitation.
The district administration has been the endowment of the bus stand. Tarakeshwar Tiwari has bagged the bus stand contract.
