Raghubar government making Adivasi youths skilled: Menka Sardar

Love for nature is a distinct quality of Adivasis. This was observed on Thursday by Ram Kumar Pahan, Khijri MLA cum state president of BJP�s SC ST Morcha at a function held at Sidhgora Town Hall on the occasion of World Adivasi Day.
Addressing the gathering of hundreds of tribal participants and dignitaries, Pahan said the so-called pro-tribal political parties of Jharkhand had long exploited the Adivasis.
The Central and state governments led by the BJP started many ambitious projects to bring the Adivasis to the social mainstream, he said.
Pahan said the Raghubar Das government had done a lot for the welfare of the tribal people of the state.
Also present on the occasion, Potka MLA Menka Sardar said the state government was doing a lot to make the tribal youths of the state skilled and self-employed.
District BJP president Dinesh Kumar said the BJP never tried to exploit the Adivasis by considering them its votebank. The BJP believes in Antyodaya which is the development of the last man on the street, he said.
Earlier, the guests paid homage to Bhagvan Birsa Munda, Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Among others who participated in the programme included Ramesh Hansda, Veena Nand Sirka, Sudhir Munda, Pawan Agrawal, Haldhar Narayan Shah, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Ankit Anand, Bari Murmu, Amarjeet Singh Raja and Neeru Singh.
