Jamshedpur: In the light of the instructions of Deputy Commissioner cum District Criminal Officer Suraj Kumar, a review meeting of District Level Coordination Committee and PM Housing Scheme was held by Deputy Development Commissioner Parameshwar Bhagat in the Collectorate Auditorium today. All block development officers were present through video conferencing in the meeting.
The schemes of MNREGA (TCB / Poto Playground Leveling / Irrigation Sewer etc.), Didi Bari, Water Harvesting, Dobha, Nadeep / Vermi Compost, Soak Pete, Nilambar Peetabandar Water Samridhi, Anganwadi Construction etc. were reviewed by Deputy Development Commissioner. In order to review the MNREGA scheme, the Deputy Development Commissioner, while emphasizing on the creation of man-days, said that the man-days should be created according to the target and along with this, 5 schemes were mandated to be compulsorily operated in each village.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, a permanent registration of 1031 remaining beneficiaries has been directed to be done without registration, Geo tag. In the total sanctioned 41981, first installment has not yet been paid to 228 beneficiaries in the houses, on which the Deputy Development Commissioner was directed to transfer 100% first installment payment to the bank account of the beneficiaries in the next two days. Pending the first phase (2016-17 to 2018-19), 776 houses were directed to be completed by 30/11/2020 in the light of departmental directives.
In the year 2019-20, the block with the worst performance in the completion of housing against the sanctioned houses, such as Jamshedpur / Bahragowda / Dhalbhumgarh / Gurabanda / Chakulia, directed to expedite the completion of the house without delay.
The maximum number of pending Indira Awaas Yojana is pending in Bahragoda / Potka / Musabani / Bodam / Ghatshila block, which has been directed to be completed at the earliest. In the Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Awas Yojana, a block with poor performance is in Bahragoda / Musabani / Dumariya / Jamshedpur / Gurbanda / Chakulia, which was directed to complete the housing at the earliest.
